The Electronic Trading Forums Kuala Lumpur 2010 serve with Western, Chinese and local dishes

The forum was organized by Plus Concepts, Hong Kong and held at Bursa Malaysia's office located at Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur. This is one-day event served with 4 sets of different menus. The main menus as follows:

Stempeutics orders vegetarian foods for its lecture at Kuala Lumpur

Stempeutics Research Private Limited is a leading stem cell company in India, focusing on research, therapeutics and therapy in the field of regenerative medicine. With the aim to develop therapies to treat various diseases, Stempeutics undertake research to acquire knowledge and understanding of stem cells and their differentiation process.

The Malaysia’s chapter of the company is located at Technology Park Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, and named Stempeutics Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

The company orders catering services on 30^th July 2009 for its lecture at Institute of Medical Research, Kuala Lumpur. The menu was prepared for three sessions, i.e. breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea-break, catered for 150 delegates. About 50 pax of foods was prepared for vegetarian participants.

Face-to-face electronic trading forum at Kuala Lumpur, 21 May 2009

The FIXGlobal Journal has successfully conducted The Electronic Trading Forum, Kuala Lumpur 2009 held at Bursa Malaysia on 21 May 2009. The FIXGlobal Journal is the FIX Protocol's official journal and key information/educational initiative for the global institutional electronic trading industry.

The forum, called FIXGlobal Face2Face, is designed by the buy- and sell-side communities to bring participants the very latest information on electronic trading, FIX, technologies and the trading issues.

FIXGlobal Face2Face forums feature lively debate between experts, sharing ideas and insight on implementing an effective electronic trading strategy, from choosing an OMS, through to exploiting DMA, and what it means to the buy-side and the markets themselves.

What is FIX? FIX is the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) Protocol, a series of messaging specifications for the electronic communication of trade-related messages. It has been developed through the collaboration of banks, broker-dealers, exchanges, industry utilities and associations, institutional investors, and information technology providers from around the world. These market participants share a vision of a common, global language for the automated trading of financial instruments.

For the event at Kuala Lumpur, the Plus Concept’s event team from Hong Kong came down to Kuala Lumpur to monitor all matters pertaining to the event, including catering services. Lusiana Catering has been invited to cater for this highly compact 1-day event.

Anugerah Sains Mahathir dan hari keluarga staf MIMOS

Pada beberapa hari tertentu bulan April dan Mei tahun ini saya mengendalikan dua sesi perkhidmatan katering yang berbeza sifatnya. Pertamanya pada 13 & 15 April bagi dua sesi syarahan Anugerah Sains Mahathir dan yang kedua pada 24 & 25 Mei untuk hari keluarga staf dan bekas staf MIMOS Bhd.

Berbeza khalayak dan tetamu, juga berbeza persembahan dalam penyediaan menu-menu. Namun kedua-dua sesi katering tersebut saya kendalikan dengan penuh tanggungjawab.

Di sini saya sertakan beberapa lagi gambar yang sempat dirakam yang tidak dimasukkan dalam entri terdahulu. Semoga saudara dan rakan-rakan sentiasa riang, walaupun harga petrol dan diesel naik lagi.

Catering for Mahathir Science Award 2007 Lecture Series

Lusiana Catering has catered the Mahathir Science Award 2007 Scientific Lecture, held at University Malaya on 13 April 2008 and the Mahathir Award Public Lecture held at Institute of Medical Research on 15 April.

The award is Malaysia’s most prestigious science award for tropical sciences bestowed on any scientist, institution or organization worldwide in recognition of contributions and innovations towards solving problems in the tropics through science and technology.

Mahathir Science Award 2007 is conferred to Professor Joseph Sriyal Malik Peiris, Chair Professor at the University of Hong Kong and Scientific Director at the HKU-Pasteur Research Centre in Hong Kong. The award is conferred in recognition of his discovery of the aetiological agent causing SARS leading to the understanding of pathogenesis and epidemiology of the disease in 2003.

The lecture series were organized by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (www.akademisains.gov.my), attended by 130 and 200 participants respectively. The academy is a body set up with a mission that encompasses pursuit, encouragement and enhancement of excellence in the fields of science, engineering and technology for the development of the nation and the benefit of mankind.
