9 Zulhijjah 1431H - What’s nasi lemak (coconut-flavored rice meal)? It is rice cooked in coconut milk made aromatic with pandan leaves (screwpine leaves). It is typically served with sambal ikan bilis - fried dried anchovies cooked in a dry sambal sauce, and garnished with cucumber slices, hard boiled egg and roasted peanuts. Traditionally packaged in a banana leaf, it is usually eaten as hearty breakfast fare.

Ikan asam pedas (sour and hot fish) is spicy and delicious, famous at Melaka. This dish is originated from one of the races in Malaysia known as the Baba-Nyonya. They are descendants of mixed marriages between the China-Chinese and the local Malays many centuries ago.

It is spicy and sourish in taste and no coconut milk is required in the preparation of the dish. The aroma of the dish is further enhanced with the addition of ginger torch (ginger flower) and polygonum (kesum leaves). Fish is typically used in the cooking of the dish with garnishes of ladyfingers, tomatoes.

I had catered Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd, located at Jalan Tandang, Petaling Jaya, on April 26, 2007 for 90 pax breakfast. For RM4, menu as follows: Singapore fried beehoon, potato curry puff, kuih ketayap, doughnut, Nescafe and tea. I stay there until mid noon.

My team was at Taman Prima Saujana, Kajang from afternoon until evening 29 April 2007 for hi-tea catering. I catered for Julika Beauty House’s opening ceremony and doa selamat.

The lady boss orders simple hi-tea set; fried mee and bihun, potato carry puff, kuih ketayap, egg sandwich, green bean porridge, honey dew, the Malaysian all time favourites teh tarik and cordial sarsi. The price is RM10 per pax. They order 60 pax.

We're offering catering services for:

We serve breakfast, morning tea-break, lunch, hi-tea, dinner, supper and barbeque (BBQ). We can prepare any kind of beverages, but liquor/beer. Other menus including sate, ABC, roasted lamb and char kuew tiew (subject to terms & conditions).

Ini bukan pekan sehari atau pasar tani, tetapi sesi komunikasi dalaman JARING

Majikan lama saya hampir 11 tahun, JARING Communications Sdn Bhd, mengadakan satu sesi komunikasi dalaman untuk semua stafnya pada 28 Julai 2009 baru-baru ini. Saya dijemput untuk menyajikan menu mudah di hari tersebut. Sesi komunikasi yang juga diadakan untuk menyambut hari lahir beberapa orang staf JARING dihadiri oleh lebih kurang 250 orang, termasuk CEOnya Dr. Mohamed bin Awang Lah di lapangan permainan bola tampar/sepak takraw.

Menu yang disajikan ialah bihun goreng, samosa kentang, kuih bakar kemboja, teh tarik, teh ‘O’, kopi ‘O’ dan nescafe. Seandainya saudara mahu tahu berapa harga untuk menu mudah ini dengan pesanan untuk 250 paxs, sila hubungi saya.

*** Lusiana Catering kini menerima pesanan untuk majlis berbuka puasa di sepanjang Ramadhan tahun ini. Pihak saya cuba untuk hanya mengambil pesanan dua kali seminggu sahaja. Pesanan minima ialah untuk 70 paxs. Hurry up, on first come first serve basis!
